All the programs are designed to provide training and opportunities in which men, women, and children can learn to be responsible, productive, self-supporting individuals with a healthy self-image of who they are and who they can become in Christ.

The focus of the ministry's outreach is on the quality rather than the quantity of the services provided. In a desire to help those who truly want to help themselves, Sunshine Ministries goal is to offer a hand up, rather than a hand out.

Pastor Landis joins the team at Sunshine Ministries every fourth Sunday evening by preaching to the residents in the shelter.
